Another Letter to Our Readers

Chasing Hats is officially back, and better than ever! Due to the financial instability of our previous host, we switched to a more reliable provider and we’ve just finished setting that up. We registered a new name for our site, www.chasinghats.org (note the .org extension), and we are temporarily pointing the old .com name to this new one. So any of you that have linked us on your websites, we would appreciate it if you would change the link to chasinghats.org until we get the old name officially in our possession.

To symbolize the changes on the backend, we have entirely redone the design, categories, and publication frequency at the Hat. We have divided the opinion section into family (for things on home life), church (for more directly theological articles), and opinion (for miscellaneous pieces), and we divided the media section into music (for music), film (for film), and manuscript (for books). Additionally, we added a people section (for profiles of and interviews with folks) and continued the response section (for our valued readers’ feedback).

And, in response to overwhelming negative feedback, we have gone back to our original system of publishing several articles throughout the week, instead of one issue once a week. As we get more writers, our goal is to publish one, and hopefully more than one article every day. This is what you want, and we are determined to give it to you.

So join us in our continued celebration of the fruit of Christianity: joy, wonder, and really cool hats.
